Welcome to our 14th Season on beautiful Salt Cay! What started as a dream and fanciful discussions years ago has become our reality here in our second home. This dream has been made possible by the amazing people who have walked through our doors and spent time with us. We’re here because we love meeting new guests who have great stories to share, we love having guests become friends who return year after year and we love our island neighbors who have made us feel like part of something very special…the island that time may have forgotten, but the island that will always be in our heart…Salt Cay!
Salt Cay is a blending of contradictions…old and new, mystery and simplicity, solitude and solid community…that has conspired to create the magical patchwork quality of Salt Cay life. It is a reality unto itself, with isolated sugar sand beaches, rugged iron shore coastlines and a unique pocket of local island history and traditions, which add depth and dimension to its island flavor.
At Porter’s Island Thyme we have carried our menu to its roots of the Caribbean; Salt Cay and the Turks & Caicos, but we infuse an Asian flair for what we call Caribbean Fusion Cuisine. We have special activities that occur throughout the week that will enhance your vacation.
